End of the 90's, the adventure of ISC begins
The adventure of ISC begins at the end of the nineties with the creation of a spin-off from the Polytechnic University of Mons.
Through the relationship between Professor Gaëtan LIBERT specialist in GAO and the entrepreneur Frederic DUFOUR, the company grows and is strengthened by an international team of researchers and developers, specialized in artificial intelligence and process modelling.
2000, the first software
In 2000 the company publishes its first software program, Li3, which offers managers the possibility to improve their planning management and helps them in their decision-making process.
This capacity optimization (recruitment, education, rationalization) based on elements of fundamental research and practice (mathematics, data processing, social sciences, accountancy and social legislation) is considered a major innovation on the market of APS (Advanced Planning Solutions).
2009, a lighter version but still as powerful
Further to their success and their collaboration with many companies (like Group 4 Securicor, Lucent, Virgin Express, Interparking, Airport of Paris), the founders decide to continue their efforts while working on a lighter, but equally powerful, version.
More advanced than the solutions focused on the use of a GANTT representation (graphic which allows visualization of a timeline of the various dependent tasks composing a project), PlanningForce solutions allow a structured and dynamic approach of project planning management.
The philosophy and ergonomics of the product are based around several concepts such as:
- task definition (with their links of interdependence and their index of priority)
- determination of goals and constraints,
- association with activity scheduling (start and end date)
- resource allocation within projects, package of projects and programs
- capacity to simulate and compare results by making them evolve/move in time
The power, the speed and the flexibility of the application, associated with its conformity to project management methodologies, Prince 2 Foundation and PMBok, make it a tool that no modern manager can avoid.
Thanks to PlanningForce, they can simulate their projects according to their progression, the availability of resources and various operational constraints.
2010, new markets and new challenges
In 2010, ISC enters new markets and new challenges.
The company opens its capital to private investors and continues to develop its network of indirect sales to satisfy the requests of its customers worldwide.
